The weir on the Torrens river it is a seven meter drop over the weir Popeye takes you  rather close on the left is the old Adelaide jail
Adelaide river heaps of bird life this pair were nesting on the river bank and only just off the walk way right in the heart of the city sort of shock to us talk bout getting use to people and noise the Popeye fleet parks less then 2 meters away on the right We also saw  Ducks Pelicans shags and water fowl

Popeye is the name of several passenger boats that cruise Adelaides Torrens river from Elder park to the zoo. The first Popeye was launched 1935 and was so popular that three new boats were built between 1948 and 1950. The third fleet was launch in the early 1980's.These are the boats that are used today
